beauty, confidence, and empowerment that embodies our boudoir photography.
Whether you're a seasoned model or just a regular woman, I welcome all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds to join me in
creating captivating content that celebrates self-love and empowerment.
Who am I?
My name is Shalista Anderson and I have owned a Boudoir and Portrait studio in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for over twenty years! I am a married mother of 4, who loves travel, music, good food and empowering women! I just moved to the east valley and ready to meet fabulous women like you!
I am so excited for our new adventure in Phoenix. I have a large following in South Dakota. I have photographed 100s of weddings and 1000s of women in my 20 years.
I am excited to the new faces I will photograph in Arizona. Will you be one of them?

I’m Seeking Outgoing, Amazing Women of All Kinds to launch my Arizona Advertising Campaign!
As I gear up for our fresh start in this beautiful location, we're also in the process of constructing a brand-new website and updating our marketing materials with stunning imagery showcasing our new locale and upcoming promotions for 2025 and 2026. To make this happen, I'm seeking 6 models who are willing to provide their full consent by signing a model release. In appreciation for their support, they will receive a greatly discounted session complete with professional hair and makeup, an experience valued at $500.
THE FINE PRINT
These sessions will be held in
March and April 2025 in Pheonix/Gilbert, Arizona.
We have 6 spots to fill, and based on past experience we anticipate have 10x's that amount apply. Please do NOT take it personally if you do not get called/chosen for this round. We will be running another round in the fall for holiday/valentine’s promotions and you will be the first I reach out to!
Not being chosen does not mean you are worthy or that we do not want to work with you. We simply want to have variety in our portfolio and only limited spots available..

What's a Model Call?!
Occasionally Shalista will put out a boudie or model call when our marketing/portfolio needs require one! The purpose of these session is to create material of a certain look for marketing purposes. The images are used online on our website, social media marketing and email and print as necessary. Instead of hiring professional models to do the job, my first preference is to offer this savings to babes just like our clients- everyday women!!
This time we have 6 spots. Our session fee is normally $500 and these models will get it for FREE, AND 20% off anything you purchase and in return a signed full-access model release of images is required. No exceptions.
We do require a $100 retainer to ensure you will show up (unfortunately, we’ve been burned) for the appointment since we do hire a makeup artist and have rented space.
You will also receive 20% off to use towards any product or collection if you decide to purchase any of your images. I will either refund the retainer at your session, no questions asked or apply it toward your order if you choose to purchase your images.

Here's what's required:
Must not have a current session with Shalista on the books
Must be ready to have your session done on the available dates
If you reschedule or cancel to a later date, it will be at full price and you’ll be ineligible for future Model Calls.Must be 21+
Must be ready to share images + behind the scenes photos/video publicly (signed model release), possibly participate in TikTok and other content creation. If you are not willing to show your face. DO NOT APPLY.
Prints and products will be available for purchase separately and start at $790.
What if I can't have my
images be public?
That is totally understandable!
But then, the Model Call is not for you.
Instead, we'd love to give you the boudoir experience all the same at our regular rates!
When will I find
out if I was chosen?
You'll receive an email from us, so be sure to check your inbox throughout the week!
Also- babes- you know I love you but pleeeease do not message me on FB at 2:00am asking for an update. We'll be offering the Model Call to our top selections, and whoever gets to their invoice and contract firsts gets the opportunity! :)

A model call is a special opportunity where you receive a session at no cost and get exclusive perks in exchange for helping us build our portfolio and content.
Q: Is it really free?
Yep! The session fee is waived. You only pay for any photos you choose to purchase—plus you get 20% off our collections.
Q: Do I have to be a model?
Nope! This is for real women—moms, teachers, CEOs, nurses, everyday babes. No modeling experience needed!
Q: Will my photos be shared online?
Yes. We’ll use select images and BTS content to show others what the experience is like.
Q: What if I’m nervous?
Totally normal! I’ll guide you through the entire shoot and promise you'll leave feeling like a total badass.
Q: How much do image collections cost?
Our collections start at $790. With the 20% discount, you'll save $200+ on any image package.
