Miss R - Sioux Falls Bridal Boudoir
From Miss R...
I did this boudoir shoot for a wedding gift for my husband-to-be! Excited and nervous are the two words I would use to describe how I was feeling before this shoot. I think those words are pretty accurate feelings for a lot of the girls out there before a photoshoot. But during the session, Shalista changed my emotions to feeling sexy, confident and super comfortable! I cannot tell all you girls enough how amazing this experience was. Shalista tells you exactly what to do and how to do it. She helps you with every arm, hand, hip, butt and foot placement along with exactly how to look and where.
If you ever had even a slight thought about doing a boudoir shoot, stop thinking and book a session with Shalista now! I am so glad I decided to do it and I haven't stopped telling my girlfriends about it. I am so excited to see my pictures and I am even more excited to show my fiancΓ© on our wedding day. I know he is going to absolutely love them!

- What made you decide to do a boudoir session?
I have found the most amazing man in this world and he asked me to marry him! I had wanted to do something like this for him for our wedding even before he proposed.
- What made you decide to hire me as your photographer?
I had first googled boudoir photography and you were the first on to come up! I checked around on a couple other websites and there was no comparison to your work. I knew I would not only look confident and sexy in my photos, but I would feel like it when doing the photoshoot...I definitely did.
- How were you feeling before your shoot? Any thoughts going through your head?
I was so nervous but excited at the same time!! Shalista was was so amazing at sending emails with checklists and advice about the shoot, so that helped me feel more prepared. I had found some great outfits that made me feel great about my body and I knew my husband-to-be would love them! But, like most girls out there, I am not a model so wondering if I could pose sexy with a sexy-serious look on my face was a little nerve-wracking.
- Now that you've had your own photo shoot, how was it?
AMAZING! I was very comfortable around you and you made it super easy to pose and give the right facial expressions. That was very helpful! I was also worried about how much time we had and everything was so relaxed and time did not seem like an issue at all. I would do this again in a heartbeat.
- How did you feel about having your hair and makeup done?
I am SO glad I did that. It was definitely worth the extra money and I would do it even for a smaller shoot. Having someone do my makeup who knows how a camera works with makeup was really helpful. That was one less thing I had to worry about before I came to the shoot. Also, she was very easy to talk to and did a wonderful job.
