I have been following Shalista's page for quite some time and always wanted to do a shoot (because I knew it was going to be fun!). I finally decided I didn't want to be the girl wishing she could, so I did it. 

After I booked my shoot, I was definitely excited but wasn't sure what I got myself into. I prepared for the session by paying close attention to the details in the emails that Shalista sends you prior to your shoot--those were beyond helpful!

Once I arrived for my shoot, I was a little nervous but knew it was going to be an amazing experience. I started getting my hair and make up done right away by Lacey and that made me really comfortable because the she calmed any nerves I had. She made me look and feel gorgeous and Shalista tells you everything you need to do to look flawless--so there is no way one could not love this experience. 

After my shoot, I was really happy that I made the decision to just do it because I felt beautiful in my skin and was able to have an experience that I have never had before. My images were for myself to boost my confidence and to embrace the beauty of being a woman. I was kind of nervous to see my images because I knew I was put outside of my comfort zone but I was beyond ecstatic to see them. I loved every single one of them! I plan to do another shoot in the future and I highly recommend other women to just do it! The photo shoot was everything I expected it to be and more, Shalista and her team made every effort to make me comfortable in my own skin and feel like a queen.
